Step into the bright lights of Broadway with Guys and Dolls JR., a high-energy musical comedy packed with unforgettable characters, catchy songs, and larger-than-life fun! Set in the bustling streets of 1950s New York City, this beloved show follows gambler Nathan Detroit as he tries to organize the biggest craps game in town, all while dodging the watchful eye of his long-suffering fiancée, Adelaide. Meanwhile, high-roller Sky Masterson takes on a bet that leads him to the mission-minded Sarah Brown—sparking an unexpected romance that just might change them both.
NAPA’s Stage Ready production is designed for performers in grades 5–8 who are ready to take their skills to the next level. With a focus on character development, vocal performance, and dynamic choreography, this program offers a supportive yet challenging environment where students can grow as confident, collaborative performers.
This is a truly special production experience. Alongside Guys and Dolls JR., NAPA will also be producing the senior version of the musical in partnership with residents from Whitney Place Assisted Living and Memory Care. Throughout the rehearsal process, there will be unique opportunities for performers from both productions to come together, collaborate, and learn from one another. In addition to their individual performances, the casts will unite for one unforgettable intergenerational performance—celebrating the joy of theater across generations and creating a meaningful, shared stage experience.
Registration is open to students in Natick and surrounding communities—including Wellesley, Wayland, Weston, Dover, Sherborn, Sudbury, Framingham, and beyond. Auditions will be held as part of the process to thoughtfully cast the show and ensure each performer is placed in a role where they can shine.
Don’t miss your chance to roll the dice and be part of this one-of-a-kind theatrical experience! 🎲
